What we are trying to be good at

Three things, and we would rather be judged on them than on adjectives.

Answering the phone

Every call goes to a person, at any hour. Not a queue, not an answering service that takes a message and calls a subcontractor. If we cannot help, we say so on that call instead of stringing you along while your driver sits on a shoulder.

Telling you the truth about the ETA

You are told which unit is coming and how far out it is before you agree to anything. If someone closer can be there in twenty minutes and we are an hour out, we will tell you that too.

Not towing what we can fix

Our service truck exists because most breakdowns do not need a wrecker. Air leaks, brake chambers, batteries, starters, hoses and trailer lights get fixed where the truck sits. That costs us a tow bill and saves you one, which is the whole point.

Certifications and cover

• WreckMaster certified operators. Our operators are trained and certified through WreckMaster, the recovery industry’s rigging and recovery program — not self-taught.
• Full commercial insurance. The company carries commercial general liability, on-hook and garage-keepers cover on every job. Certificates available on request for fleet accounts.
